Atlanta-based artist Faye Webster has released a new single called “Better Distractions.” The song arrives with a music video directed by Matt Swinsky and Eat Humans. Check it out below.

“I wrote this song kinda without knowing I was writing it,” Webster said in a press release. She continued: “It’s a kind of free association, just thoughts running straight from my head onto paper untouched. I also think it’s best my band has ever sounded on record.”

Webster recorded “Better Distractions” at Chase Park Transduction in Athens, Georgia. The track was produced by Webster’s long-time collaborator Drew Vandenberg. In addition to her new single, Webster has announced a full band livestream performance on October 6: Live From Chase Park Transduction will be streamed via Noonchorus.

Webster’s most recent album, Atlanta Millionaires Club, arrived in 2019.
